Pamela Poku DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Pamela is a board certified Nurse Practitioner and a long-time resident of Georgia. She completed her associate’s degree of nursing in Macon State College and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Middle Georgia State University. She then went on to acquire her Master of Science degree in Nursing at South University in Savannah Georgia. Due to her curiosity and love for nursing, she decided to advance her education and proceeded to earn her Doctor of Nursing degree also at South University in Savannah Georgia.

Before advancing her degree, Pamela was a registered nurse with Medical Center of Central Georgia (now Atrium Health Navicent Health). Her time was used in taking care of some of the most challenging patients in oncology, cardiology, renal, and surgical patients. As a Nurse Practitioner, Pamela was always willing to learn more. She gained specialized training while collaborating with multiple physicians in several hospitals and states. She continued to expand her specialized training in cardiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, urgent care medicine, and hospital medicine. She travelled and cared for patients in states like Indiana, Michigan, New Mexico, and off course, Georgia. Pamela’s goal has always been to advocate for her patients on a level that may influence their care and the decisions they make regarding their own health.

When she’s not taking care of patients, Pamela enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
